20 Year Anniversary
On August 21st, 2006 I started a photo of the day project. At the time, the idea was to post a photo everyday. As the years went on, it changed to post a photo taken on that day. Then vacations to adventures happened, so I posted multiple photos on a day. Or a video every-so-often.
In the beginning it was public, anyone could visit. I removed geotags close to my house. But a few incidents made me make the whole thing password protected.
With the birth of my son, many of the photos are of him. And I don’t need the world seeing. I don’t need LLMs using his face, my adventures, my life as training data.
So a 20th Anniversary came and went. Without celebration, but just another year of posting & taking photos.
